If I asked you to depict a picture of a feminist that first pops into your mind, what is she going to look like? If someone were to ask me if I was a feminist I would say absolutely not, I believe in equality not reverse politics or revenge. I believe that women should have the same rights as everyone else and be able to work where ever they please just like men. But in my own definition and interpretation of the meaning of feminism I believe they want women to over power men, it is degrading to marry or rely on a man and being "girly" is so stereotypical of a woman who doesn't know about how women really are. And that is why I consider myself far from a feminist because everything I just listed is a definition of how I am. But when we looked up to definition and what it used to stand for, it brings back to true reason why women became feminists to begin with which helped me to better understand that term and clarify what it really meant rather than being clouded by the radicals.
