Future Leaders, do not be alarmed by the dollar amount on the dinner plate--representatives from the Uhuru Solidarity Movement have assured me that USFSP students who want to bypass the meal and go straight to the lectures can do so, free of charge. Just show your USFSP id card, and indicate that you are attending to take notes on the lectures, which you will revise into a 1-page reflection for 5 points of extra credit in Dr. Conner's ENC 1102 Lead, Learn, and Serve course. If anyone is interested in meeting the featured speakers--including Omali Yeshitela, whose complete works were recently purchased by the USFSP library--for one-on-one interviews, let me know by posting your name on this page.

Many of you have probably heard of Omali Yeshitela, the founder of the Uhuru Movement, always a powerful speaker and avocate for the democratic rights of the African working class... but I just wanted to let everyone know that GLEN FORD is also somebody you don't want to miss. I had the opportunity to hear him speak in Washington DC earlier this year and he was absolutely amazing.
