The rationale behind selecting a non-commercial license would be because our project is meant to be entirely for non-profit purposes. By making it so, we prohibit the collaboration of our knowledge and ideas from being contorted into something it was not meant to be or utilized in a matter which may be malignant towards it's intended purpose. Although we must consider that sometimes having commercial interests invested with non-commercial or non-profit intrests can sometimes be beneficial as this can attract a greater scope of interest and funding.

Well I'm quite confused on everything we're supposed to be doing, however The Happenings bit (#3) asked for three links and to think about how we'd relate this term to our lives, one of the things it made me think of is an old show called  Trigger Happy TV.

To me it seems like "Happenings" aren't more than social experiments. Where the artist (scientist) has a hypothesis, the observations are recorded and the procedure for the experiment is staged. Examples I guess could include The Stanford Prison Experiment or the Milgram Study.

The Idea of "Happenings is quite intresting to say the least, a freeform of art to say the least, it allows for nature to take a huge part in the making of the art, which makes sense since we draw so much inspiration for art from nature. Often it reacts in unexpected ways.

From reading the excerts from "Anthology" I don't see how they would be different in modern times? I would think altering the Happening would defeat its purpose. Its meant to be awkward, right?

Maybe we're supposed to create our own happening or draw upon an experiment? I can recall on one boring drunkin night thinking with my friends that it would be great for me to wear a speedo, giant sombrero and tie my hands behind my back. No it wasen't bondage..... But we threw me into the trunk of my friends car, and as we came to a stop light,, a few cars close behind I would pop out of the back, running away seemingly for my life, my friend in the passanger seat would jump out, look back in horror, realizing I'd escaped and quickly chase after, while the driver would speed off... the result? A few 911 calls from the cars close behind.
