The Fall 2009 Scope assignment looked like this

our version will be different for many reasons.

1. Fall2009 began with an assignment focused on genres of narrative and definition and went on to explore the relationship between mimesis and rhythm; Fall2010 began with a duration testing the idea of composing bit-by-weebit; in place of the limits placed by a particular genre, our only imperative was to participate with high frequency and watch for patterns of emergent order, and then, at week 4, test and share compositional strategies by recursively doubling back on our process and shaping the material at hand into something polished and/or provocative and/or persuasive.
