Week 4- September 14th

Carrying on my theme I thought I would share with you and" how not to" on celebrating your 21st birthday...

Since I am so conveniently the youngest out of all my friends, I have just recently been partaking in many various 21st celebrations. So I have a pretty good variety of seeing "what went wrong" and am now able to analyze it.

First:

DO NOT plan an entire week of festivities for your 21st that involve drinking until you black out and say some things that you, and others, will not be too proud of in the morning. For example, my roommate decided that she would plan out a whole week of different events. Since her actual birthday was on Thursday she wanted to go to Howl-at-The-Moon to take a shot, or two, at midnight. But since they were the ONLY ones in the bar, she ended up getting so drunk that she fell off the stage. No big deal, she was still going to carry out the rest of the week. So, when Thursday comes she had planned a nice dinner at a classy restaurant where we all dressed up in black and white for her. While sitting at this nice restaurant, after dinner and 15 shots later, she proceeded to go around to all the other tables and say hi and be social right, well it was all fun and games until she came to a table occupied by a group of gator fans. Since she saw the shirts and she goes to USF she was going to let them know. While she was over there, my friend chanted the USF chant to them, but midway through forgot how to spell FLORIDA...

Second:

DO NOT plan to attend two happy hours one after another.. in the same night!

Friday was still going to be the big going out night and since she hasn't already made a complete ass out of her self, we were all going out once again! Friday night was happy hour then another happy hour and appetizers following directly after. Since I was not able to make it to the first happy hour me and a couple others met them at the second happy hour. After stumbling in, we all sat and had dinner and drinks. But, the birthday girl was so drunk from the first happy hour that she screamed at her best friend, said some.. not so nice things and tried to hit her... not the best way to end the night.

and Finally:

DO NOT plan to have your family come visit the next morning after your "big 21st birthday" night out..

That sentence explains its self... :)
