Reading "Blood in the Gutter", I really felt like I understood what he was saying. I had never really sat down and thought how my mind works, and how much it does fill in the gaps. I'm not much a comic reader, but the methods he named definitely are methods I have seen. But personally, I think he just read too much into it.
I went back and I looked at how he was doing his comic about comics, and I feel like he went too far with everything. He went so into detail that my mind was shoved with information I didn't really care to know. Right now, I have a headache!
I feel like he should have let the reader insinuate and draw their own conclusions from his idea, which I feel he told us to do at the end, but he didn't leave much gutter space for our own ideas.
Oh well.
