Today we reviewed the basic structure of a unit portfolio, and discussed the particular structure of WTEvaluate Portfolios:

1. prewrite/cover page: on the front page of your WTEval portfolio, talk about your plan and process, and, detail the structure of your own NOFO Problem Statement, which is your "final" draft in this portfolio. Keep a running track of your progress; later, you can remix this language into your reflection (postwrite).

2. feedback: immediately post a link to your WTEval work here http://fall2010compositions.pbworks.com/w/page/WTEvaluate-Portfolios (can also be accessed via the November 2 link on the course calendar), and sign up to review 3 NOFO Problem Statements from peers outside your SPB.

3. representation of writing process: create a video or audio description (or representation) that dovetails with your reflection.

4. reflection: when deciding which aspects of the experience to emphasize in your reflection, consider using the midterm reflection step-by-step guide, which provides thick description of the student learning outcomes that we emphasize in ENC 1102.

5. rough draft/process work: this may or may not take the form of a NOFO Problem Statement. David and Danielle, for example, or applying WTE knowledge to profile specific civic agencies as a way to clarify their research avenues and to learn more about the specific language their NOFO Problem Statement audience (nonprofit sector) will need to see in their final WTEval (NOFO Problem Statement). Here you can also display your research, and the ways that you applied the principles of WTEval and the heuristics of the stasis of value to generate your NOFO Problem Statement.

6. final drafts:

a) on the wiki, display a complete and polished NOFO Problem Statement.

b) using the NOFO template, reMEDIAte your problem statement into the word processor of your choice. Upload your customized complete NOFO to the wiki as a .doc, .odt, or .pdf file and link it to your portfolio page.
