Plan:

Today, let's work together as a class and focus on one NOFO at a time, starting with Ronald's.

post-class reflection:

As we went through Ronald's Problem Statement, we decided to "double-dip" and make the final WTEval draft also count as a piece of the reMEDIAtion portfolio: in other words, we'll write in wiki, but then move our problem statements into the NOFO template and fill out the "Evaluation Rubric" and other sections marked in red on the template.

working with templates

Simply put, templates are specific, pre-developed formats that are strict in structure but open to diverse contents.

Here is the latest version of the NOFO template, stripped clean of specific content, that we will use for our final WTEval draft: NOFO Template

Here is a more poetic musing on templates from a previous SPB experience (warning! playful use of language)

Although previous examples of NOFOs have specific contents, they adhere to the LLS NOFO format and can also be thought of as helpful templates.

WTEval Timeline

duck or rabbit?

We hoped to be finished this week, but we will give WTEval another "go around."

by Friday: complete WTEVal portfolios, including a final draft formatted as a .doc, .odt, or .pdf using the NOFO Template.

Here's how to upload the NOFO Template once you've finished making your edits.

This will ensure enough time to complete the feedbacking process by Monday night.

When in wiki, look to the top right-hand corner of the screen, and notice "upload files," which is the second option under the "search this workplace" dialogue box. Click "upload files." Then you will see a new screen, where you can browse your own folders, and upload your remix of the template, or any other file you might like to share :)

You can also click Page and Files tab at the top of the screen on the left and then upload the file.

You don't have permission to comment on this page.
