List ideas you want to focus on during the display
For my display part of my show case I plan on focusing more on what I have learned thoughtout this ENC 1102 course from our McGraw Hill Guide text book and also what I have learned from using the Wiki, hopefully I will be able to help future students as well, better understand of thisAmber's Showcase plans course.
Describe how your idea could be displayed the following genres. Our goal here is to generate as many new ideas and ways of displaying as possible and appropriate to the message you want to share with your audience)

My ideas for my ENC 1102 showcase has to do with my NOFO topic, Depending on how my Unit Four turning out, I would like to continue with writing to convince people to help out our community by mentoring children in need. By doing this I could not only start a new unit with some background on the topic already but I could also use my Unit four in my NOFO, and ultimately put all of it together to use in my showcase.

Collage

I plan on having some sort of picture visual but I'm not positive I will take the collage approach.

Personally I can not draw will so using my own drawings in my showcase it out of the question but finding others drawings may be an idea.

Oral Presentation
|
The showcase is suppose to be a time when you show you're work you have completed in ENC1102. Rather than blowing up my entire essay and pasting it on a posterboard, standing near my board and orally explaining my showcase is a better idea if I wish to receive a good grade. Talking about my topic, my process, and adding in about this Wiki is what I plan on doing for my oral presentation of my showcase.

Here I have taken out powerpoint because I feel this is not as effective as presenting my audience with our wiki website would be. By allowing them access to my work, showing how I have completed, not only this course, but my showcase would be a better way to show my showcase with technology.

Poster
|
I plan on using a Tri-fold poster as another visual for my showcase because I feel it is another good way to present information on my essay I am showcasing. For ENC1101 I presenting my work in a tri-fold and I felt that it was very effective, with my pictures and information I pasted on it. Not only was it effective I had a fun time being creative in making it.

Informational flyer

I had not thought about making an informational flyer but now the more I think about it I think it might be a good idea if people would like to later expand the knowledge on my topic on their own time. I could provide them with guidelines in doing so.

Adding pictures and videos to my showcase is some I feel would help my project reach out to others to help them have a better understanding of what I am trying to convince them of.

Graphs/Charts

If showing statistics would be easier to do, and easier to understand if it were in a graph or chart I wold add this to my showcase to help my audience have a better understanding of my work.

Font type, size, color, images, icons, and visuals.

By using different font sizes, types, colors and other visuals to catch my audiences attention is a technique I plan on using and making sure everything is to be an attention grabber.

What do you want people to focus on most? How can you best direct their attention to that element through design?I think the most important thing I would like people to focus on is persuading/convincing my audience of my NOFO problem statement, or even just knowing they learned something new by view my project.

What type of media—poster board, etc—will you use, and why? I plan on using a tri-fold most definitely but I also plan on using my laptop to provide my audience with my Wiki page, I feel like this would be the best way to show the English board what I have learned in ENC1102.

Hola! Question I know I've asked a million of them, this can just be an outline plan of what we want to do with our showcase correct? doesnt have to be set in stone?

No of course not, but it shoud be as close as possible. I enjoy helping you guys out (hence why I want to be a nurse, and help people for the rest of my life) Yes this is just to get your ideas on to the Wiki and let the professor know the direction you plan on going. For most of it I kept stating " I plan on..." and if keep hitting backspace it will erase a column if you don't want that many. Be careful though I erased the whole box twice. I suggest you save it multiple times while in the process. I finished mine if you want to look at it to help you out! It is on the page Ehle- Showcase Roster
