Jasmyne's Final Reflection

This semester of ENC 1102 was one word...ENOUGH! It was almost everything you actually needed in class. I can admit that I was one who didn't take direction very well and took for granted the help and opportunities there was out on the wiki. I was confused alot of the time. But this class was definitely an experience. This is exactly what college is like. We had people who had complete opposite views. There was the boys who always talked about sports. The students who knew they were way ahead. The confused classmates. The ones who didn't come. There were the students who KNEW they wouldn't return to LLS by next semester. And hey! This was all good. We got a chance to feedback and hear from an advance composition class. That might have been a different thing, because they weren't physically in our class. Because of technology, the other students were able to partake in discussions and disagreements like they were present. Some of the concepts in class were the hardest to grasp. I honestly think that if LLS would have been left out of this course, we would have been able to do alot better. Well, I would. It brought a twist to the class and sort of made us cramp and crush certain things in. I didn't like this. That's why, this course has helped me make a decision on why I don't want to participate in LLS anymore. It's sad, but I gotta focus on what's most important for me right now. I thank many of my classmates for their feedback on different things. I know I could have done better. I would come up with the greatest topics, but couldn't find a way to follow through with them. Some things are just hard. And this is why I'm not a big fan of English class. Haven't been since I started high school and even now that I'm in college. One thing that I can honestly contributed to the class was the start of WikiBlog. I was having a hard time focusing in class one day, so I used Dr. Conner's advice and just WROTE about it. This was something he had wanted our class to do from the start, but we were so confused about how to use the wiki rather than just writing randomly. It became really easy to understand things. Classmates may have read it or not. They may have disagreed or accepted it. Regardless of the situation, it got out how you felt. Your OWN feelings and emotions to the things around you. You never would have known if they affected or pushed someone else to write about it. I know now that I determine my flow and my motive. Thank you all for making ENC 1102 quite an adventure:)
