Remediation

Reflecting back:

Writing is a drawn out process, making the perfect thesis/ problem statement for my work has helped me to interest my audience. For some Unit assignments in ENC1102 I was in a group, but I always liked working individually more. I felt when we worked in groups we just worked together to fix our pieces. In my opinion, working individually attracts more attention and feedback towards a piece. In this class feedback was not always a guaranteed thing, but eventually I would receive helpful feedback. Feedback helps me to improve my essays and get any advice towards glitches I did not notice. Using the USF database has helped me learn how to easily form an essay by using credible sources in order to support the claims throughout my essay. The multiple different types of resources found on the USF databases are very helpful. It is easy to limit your search, and easily find what you are looking for. Limited searches, and search methods such as the boolean search method help me to limit my search.  Another cool part about the USF database is how they have a button "Cite" which helps you choose how to automatically cite the page in any common citation style. I always use this to quickly and easily cite my paper and avoid plagiarism. My writing process was to write multiple different drafts of my essays and keep redoing/editing my essay to improve it. Another cool thing I did for specifically my Unit 4 paper, and my Unit 3 NOFO was that I used templates of old essays/ and old NOFO's to help guide my thoughts. I used these templates to give myself ideas, and  guide my writing to make it my own. Ethos is important to establish in every compostion. I learned alot about ethos, logos, and pathos, in my composition course at USF. These elements have helped fix my writing to be at a more advanced level.

Personal Goals: Receiving/ Giving feedback. Attracting an audience. Improvement. Being able to watch my essay start at one point and days later grow to an actual essay. Exploring/ Research. Organization and structure, appealing to the audience.
