My name is Kelsey Hastings & I am an aspiring writer, taking it day by day and trying to ditch all worry and expectation.

Everything else is a mystery.

This page will serve as an account of my work in Advanced Composition. I hope that through blogging, journaling, essay-ing, and probably occasional word vomiting, I can come out of this project as a better writer, ready to take on a "big girl job" in the world of publication (how I most often refer to my future).

During the Spring '10 Semester, I held the role of Board Chairperson for a Student Philanthropy Board. This project introduced me to the Dr. Conner and the wiki of course, but also to an intense fear of public speaking and leadership. I learned a lot about philanthropy, and a lot about myself during this process.
