Really, Jasmyne? I thought we had a fairly productive session: we workshopped Jenna's showcase example, reviewed the formal elements of the "Writing to Solve Problems" genre, and then tackled Duane's draft, which generated a lot of real-time writing and assignment-specific discussion. But there seems to be a disconnect here, and I want to help bridge that gap. Maybe you could elaborate more on what was happening from your perspective?

There was still a disconnect. Yea we focused on some things, and there were certain things that were confusing. When we got to PiratePad time, it became a big mess and confusion. Everybody wasn't working on it so others had to do something else. I'm still in the "get to the point" stage, because all the steps it takes to get to the actual assignment gets me lost and off track...
