Political Interference

Page history last edited by aberlicious 13 years, 5 months ago

The race is on, candidates traveling all over the united states to express there intentions, and gather the vote of the people. Having rally can be a perfect way to gather the excitement of the people to get them "ready to vote."

But are the rallies more helpful or hurtful to the communities they're hosted in???

SN: I'm not into politics!? The absolute, dumbest excuse for not voting. Yet I  have heard it. The right to vote has nothing to do with it.

Woman fought for forever to get this right, now people just don't step up to listen to the views and choice a candidate.

Anyways...

Class cancelled for most:

I really don't understand how a candidate can say they stand up for education and the power of a classroom, when the come for their political rally at 10:45 at a school campus knowing good and well the majority of us have class. They come around preaching their "advancement of sciences, new energy, and electric cars." Yet why I sit in class, I can focus due the the uproar of the crowds and sound waves from the speakers set up OUTSIDE of the area designated for there scripted rallies.

Contradictory right?

What is SN? I always wonder when people write SN or SNH or something like that in their facebook status. By the way I like how you wrote this, very true. I thought our class would be cancelled but we are so behind with this NOFO.
